The 7th Symposium was able to get continuing education credits approved for Technical Specialists and Veterinarians. The steering committee is working to get continuing education credits for the 8th Symposium. Stay tuned for additional information.

Technical Specialist
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Soil and Water Conservation Division has approved the Symposium for up to 6 hours of continuing education credit for technical specialists. Out of state technical specialists are encouraged to apply. For additional information on eligibility and about the program, click here.
Veterinarians
The North Carolina Veterinarian Medical Board has approved the Symposium for up to 17 hours of continuing education credit for licensed veterinarians. Out of state veterinarians are encouraged to check with their state licensing board to see if this credit is applicable for their continuing education requirements.
